Never let it be said that all that can be known about the climate has already been considered. There is always the opportunity for new discoveries and important new findings. The great benefit of having climate science, in particular, in investing in climate research, is that it continually increases our understanding of a very complex system – or set of connected systems, if that’s the way you’d rather see it.

This new finding in an of itself isn’t going to change what we already know a great deal, I imagine, but by adding to the sum of our collective understanding, it makes an important contribution to the bigger picture:

A new feedback on climate change from the hydrological cycle

Well done to theĀ  clever and hard working people at the University of Reading, and their associates.

Inel says all that needs to be said. I laughed.

For the next few days, the posts are likely to be brief and succinct. This is because I am in the middle of some interesting research, which requires a lot of attention and effort.I will, of course, respond as quickly as possible to comments and post from visitors. Please be patient for a short while, and check on the blogroll for the latest on climate science.

Be loved.
